What do I need to become an In-House Design or brand maintenance client?

Winter Woods Design advises that you have your branding and content prepared before your project begins to avoid fees for delays in project schedule. Logo design requires extensive research, time, and dedication to perfectly convey your entire brand in one visual element. Branding goes hand-in-hand to further refine your business into a relevant and cohesive persona. Both of the aspects are the true foundation to any memorable business. We here at Winter Woods use these elements to create the visuals for your business. Having a solid logo, copy, and brand allows us to create functional, well-intentioned designs that professionally communicate your message. Branding for your business includes:

  • vector logo
  • color pallet {we recommend no more than 6}
  • typography files
  • high quality brand/product photography
  • client content {titles, headers, body copy, taglines, quotes, policies, etc.}
  • identified target audience, mission statement, and/or brand values

All In-House clients will receive a detailed checklist during the initial consultation. Brand Maintenance clients will receive a questionnaire to further define and develop these elements. Using these pieces of your business, we will create visually stunning graphics that will be sure to grab your customer's attention. We advise you to work with the designer of your choice to create the branding required. What will the consultation calls look like?

The first consultation call will be the most structured and in-depth. We'll walk through our studio's complete design process so that you can get an idea of what it's like to work with us as your design team. This also give our clients a chance to express any hesitations they might have with any step of the process. We tailor each and every experience to fit our clients' specific business needs, so feel free to voice any objections so that we can find a solution that works for your brand.

The second call will take place on your projected start date. Prior to the call clients will complete a questionnaire so we can get a solid idea of their business goals. During the call, we will go over our design concepts and make any tweaks that will improve the overall strategy. Then, we'll review our design suggestions and the reasoning behind each one so you have a complete understanding of the designs. We will also recommend specific design features and talk through any concerns you may have.

if i was sent by referral, am i eligible for a discount?

Yes! Anyone who was personally referred will get a 10% discount (both parties). Please send an email with your contact's name and email address to hellowinterwoods@gmail.com with "Referral" in the subject line. We will respond within 1-3 business days with your discount code.

if i am a returning client, am i eligible for a discount?

We here at Winter Woods Design believe customer loyalty should be rewarded! We offer a 15% discount to all returning customers on all products and services. The discount code will be provided in the project completion email. 

How soon can I start?

We typically book client slots about four weeks to six weeks in advance, so book as soon as you are starting the branding process. This year, we will be taking a limited number of clients to completely focus our energy into each project. We take about 18 brand maintenance clients per year and all In-House Designs are created on an as needed basis. Due to the nature of the investment, please note that a 50% non-refundable deposit is required  for all Brand Maintenance clients prior to booking. In-House design clients are required to complete the initial payment and to adhere to the payment schedule prior to booking. We suggest you inquire as soon as you have your branding materials ready.

What if I need my project done ASAP?

As much as we would like to accommodate your request, a well designed brand requires time. Unfortunately, Winter Woods Design is not able to take on projects that require expedited deadlines. We pride ourselves on giving our clients the devoted attention they deserve. Developing your vision is of the utmost importance to us, so our studio will not take on a project that does not meet our timeline requirements.

WHY DO brand maintenance clients HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?

Having a contract protects you, as the client, from not getting something you expected to receive, as well as getting each step of the process completed by the set due date. Winter Woods is also protected from running into any payment issues, or making a bunch of unnecessary revisions. It may seem excessive, but having a contract is really beneficial if any issues occur and protects the overall integrity of your investment!

Why do you only offer one design in each of your services?

There are a slew of advantages to presenting one design solution. We are constantly bombarded with multiple options on a daily basis. Just think of all the choices down the toothpaste aisle! Reducing our designs to a single option streamlines our design process. Additionally, we're eliminating any second guessing you may have after you've chosen a design. As designers with over 8 years of experience, we understand what makes an appealing and successful brand. Since crafting winning presentations for our clients is of the utmost importance, we offer unlimited revisions in order to manifest your vision.

This is a big investment. do you have any other payment plans?

I understand that working with a designer may not always be in the budget. For all Brand Maintenance clients, 50% of the investment is due before any design work can begin. We do offer payment plans for the rest of the cost and will work with you to ensure that you are able to make payments that are convenient for you.

I can book you weeks or months in advanced if you need to make smaller payments. We begin the brand exploration process right a way and begin the design process based around the time of when you want to launch.

If i don't like the work you did, can I get a refund?

Winter Woods Design studio works closely with each and every client to provide an easy and enjoyable experience. All products are custom designed for each client. Due to the nature of these custom orders, all of our design services are non-refundable or exchangeable. However, if there is an error on our part, we will gladly send a replacement that correctly reflects your order. If there is an issue with your design, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will work with you!
